Hey bandies!
We have just moved in to 130 more days to concert!
Thats approximately 4.2 months!
& there are only about 30+ practices!
thats just about 100 hours of practices!
hehes. you should be glad to have a drum major who loves to use statistics to scare you! :D
when we come closer to the date you'll be entertained with countdowns by the hour!
so guys, out of the 12 pieces we have tentatively decided upon, how many are you ready?
& if you're ready, how many are we(whole band) ready?
not much eh?
well you guys can help out by doing your own part by getting ready individually at your own time so when we gather together we can get ready as a whole band.
its common to see sir stopping the whole band just to focus on a single section or individual to make sure everyone are on par...
that wastes alot of time, so in our own time we have to do our part so that we can have more time to practice altogether.
when you are at home, practice the parts that you are unsure of, eliminate that hurdle, so you can proceed. then when you are in sectionals, brush off parts that the section needs polishing in.
so when its full band comes, sir can tackle the problems of the whole band & this will be done very smoothly.
& in this way, everything will be done qickly & effectively!
so guys! all of you have to put in your part no matter what you play, how important your part, how good you are. :)
so come on band together we can achieve a breakthrough in Wind De Brassion III!
ah anyway, sls, please conduct promotional test thank you very much! :D
& members, anyone still wanting to wear ankle socks, grow long fingernails, & tuck out shirts, WATCH OUT!
