Hello, my lovely bandies.

I know that today is a tiring day for all.

Some of us are physically tired due to drills,

While some of us are mentally inspired &

wanted to do better for the band.

Afterall, I want to say,

"Well Done, people!"

I heard from seniors that today during drills,

W/o me being there to ask you lock your elbows.

You people did it by yourself!

SEE!

I know my band is GREAT!

You people can do almost everything after being told just a few time.

You people can remember every small detailed even I'm not there to remind.

You people are awesome!

I hope that what sir said today, you people will remember &

apply it everytime when you fall in.

For eg, Look up, Say timing together.

I know you people today in Sedia position for 5 mins under th cold sun,

& You guys pull it through! That's like (Y)! Wahseh! HAHA.

People, I would like to tell you more about myself.

As you get to know more about me,

I hope you people will clear some misconception about me.

Some of you were once under my lead before, some of you are totally new.

Okay, let me tell you bout myself,

I'm very serious when it come to work, HOWEVER,

I can be very very crappy when is time to relax.

My style is that, I'll do things to its best or I'll not do it @ all.

Therefore, when I don't get things done, I'll get angry.

But, my temper is getting better, don't worries.

& This is very important,

Regardless of who you saw that I'm with during my free time, It doesn't affect my character.

I treat everyone of you like my smaller brothers, sisters, children. (Anyone older than me?)

Therefore, I'm super approachable! Don't be scare, I won't bite.

Yo peeps =)

Well, Making my first official post on the band blog today, i wish to say a few things =)

1: Today was ok for the rehearsal but i believe you can do better on the actual day itself.

2: We owe sir an apology for making so many mistakes.

Well other than that, it was a great day to kickstart my first day of official post. Haha =) Thanks to all for your cooperation today and hard work in the sun. Cos i also sweating like pig... haha

Wind De Brassion III

To all who have been crowned champions, you guys are now officially champions!
You have persevered in the faces of pressure & struggles,
you have remained faithful in the faces of temptations,
& you have strived & steered your way through to your dreams.
Therefore, you have earned yourself the ultimate victory you all deserve!

Now bandies, never ever doubt yourself,
cos you have seen yourself do it!
All of you are capable! & you have all proved that!
Not everyone will be able to fight through all these harsh trainings you have experienced.
But all of you who picked up your your instruments & stepped on stage of VCH on the evening of 11 June 2010.
All of you have done it!
All of you are champions!
All of you are people who have just tasted success!
You have chosen success & you have fought for it!
Give yourself a round of applause!
(make sure no one is around you when you're clapping or they'll think you're crazy clapping to a computer)
I must say that i am very proud of you guys!
& i believe Sirs, teachers, alumni & the other 2 majors are also very proud of you guys!

Now guys, we dont just stop here.
Everything you go through is a learning process.
Move on in life, there are greater things for you to achieve.
Remember that your CCA is for you to learn life skills so that you can be not just a successful student, but also a successful person.
Lead the life you dream of. Fear nothing & believe in yourself.
Because we believed, thus we achieved it.
Wind De Brassion III will forever be etched in my mind unabated,
& i believe so will it be in yours.
These are the moments that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Helllllllllllo my dears!
Just a summary of th things you have to take note tomorrow.
OUR CONCERT IS TOMORROW OMGZXZXZXZX

Heehee okay.

1) Fall in at 930, in your PE attire. you can wear PE shirt with any school bottoms and school shoes. Please DO NOT wear your band uniform beforehand if not you'll stink like dont know what. :D

2) Please remember to bring all parts of your uniform.
For girls, your blazer, white shirt, skirt, tie and court shoes!
Stockings can be bought on th spot tomorrow, (Around $1 if i'm not wrong)
and ribbons for your hair will be given to you tomorrow.
For guys, its th same except th stockings and ribbons.

3) Sls try and make a list of things to bring tomorrow.
Some stuff you might want to include in your list:

Polish cloth
Valve/slide/rotor oil
Mutes
Files
Hats
Tuners
Gloves

4) Secfours/fives, we will join th th rest of th band in th music room after our lessons.

5) Tomorrow all post bearers will resume duties, including majors.
Its our last day before stepping down yah! :)

6) Very brief schedule for tomorrow:
Bus will leave at 1145am, alumni are welcome to take th bus with us,
Or if you are going there by yourself, its best to come at 130 onwards. :)
130-5pm will be th rehearsals.

7) Sleep early tonight, drink lots of water because tomorrow is a long day!

8) Focus! Listen to th majors for instructions, and take note of what Sir and teachers say.

People, i know some of you guys are nervous.
But believe in yourself, and believe in th band.
We are all in this together, and we will rock victoria concert hall tomorrow, okay!!

Hey Bandies! Wah best, I just typed out the post just now and my wonderful self went to press I don't know what button and it's all gone! So I'm retyping it again!

Anyway, band camp's tomorrow! For the benefit of those who didn't come for practice or missed out announcements, here are the details!
Reporting Time: 0800am (Don't be late!)
Attire: White Penguin Band Tee & Shorts (For main band), PE attire & Shorts (For recruits)

TO BRING LIST

3 or more sets of clothings
Day 1 - Band Tee
Day 2 - PE Attire
Day 3 - PE Attire
(After bath, free & easy)
Long Socks
Undergarments
Toiletries
Fork & Spoon (Non-disposable)
Mug (Must be big, with handle, no disposable plastic cup)
Slippers
Torch Light
Sleeping Bag
Plastic Bag (For dirty laundry)
Personal Medication

*Handphones are allowed only during sleeping and bath time.

*All students are strictly not allowed to roam around the school after 12am.
*Everyone is strictly banned from buying drinks from the vending machine.
Reminders: Bring along uniform Edusave form and $5 for Band Camp!
Yeah, that's all about camp stuff.

Concert's coming really really really soon! We know that yesterday's rehearsal wasn't our best. We can do so much better! With time passing by so fast, there's no more time to waste! We would've to give it our all for the next whole week if we want a successful concert! Determined, disciplined. Like James said, We wouldn't want to disappoint Sir, Teachers, Mr Subranto, the Alumni who perform with us, the Audience and most importantly, ourselves! I'm sure we wouldn't want to leave the Concert Hall saying "I should've practiced more" or "That wasn't our best". We want people to flood our/their facebook walls saying "Wind de Brassion III was awesome!" and all those wonderful stuff! There's always room for improvement, both in terms of attitude and music! Most of us are feeling the momentum already. Most of us want to give it our best and go all out! And that's a good sign! So yeah, keep the spirits up! Keep fighting! Never give up, continue encouraging each other, continue working hard! We will pull through. We will make this concert the best one! We can do it! I have faith in us! We're gonna be Awesome! We're gonna be Boomz! :D One Band, One Sound!

Cny performance

Hey guys!
Once again great job for your chinese new year concert performance.
"1 cheer is not enough! 2 cheers still not enough! 3 cheers & 3 cheers & 3 cheers for KSB!"
(btw, the cheer was the creativity of Lee Jingyi.)
well guys, 1 job down & 2 more tougher ones to come.
Next month is the achievement day performance.
Sec 2s this will be your first performance with uniform.
dont worry about the uniform, your majors & uniform officers are working hard to get them for you.
all you need to do is to prepare well for the next two performances.
espacially the second one.
thats your CONCERT!
anyway, here is a reminder to you guys:
next friday,
no training. its recruit party-cum-Mr Lim's farewell ceremony.
ewport in your dark school related t-shirt.
please note that GROOMING REGULATIONS STILL APPLY!
come with a cheerful heart & playful mind.
dont scare our dear sec 1s & show them your love! (literally not figuratively!)
please participate whole-heartedly that day because the recruit i/cs & welfare team have put in alot of time & effort to plan this party.
so enjoy guys! & dont forget to thank them for the great fun! :)
